Chemical Name: 2-ethylhexanoic acid solution of triethylenediamine
General Description:
It is a blocked tertiary amine. It mainly promotes the urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reaction while
providing a delayed initiation in flexible and rigid polyurethane foams.
Advantages:
It provides excellent flow ability.
Does not prolong the demold times.
Offers improved curing of the foam.
Delayed-action catalysis
Applications:
It is used in moulded foam applications where a delay in cream time is required to facilitate mould
filling and closing and to improve flow. This can lead to improved processing efficiencies in the
overall moulded foam operation. It is also used as a co-catalyst in both moulded and slabstock
formulations. It is also can be used in rigid foam.

Storage and package Information:
It should be stored in a cool dry area under appropriate ventilation conditions.
The package should be sealed tightly to avoid contamination with moisture or other negative
influences, which could change the products’ performance in the end use. The optimum storage
temperature is between 10°C and 30°C.
